Our Story

Every vineyard has its own language, and every vine carries a voice.

At Villa Zambelli, history and imagination are equally recognized and embraced. Built in the 19th century for the Zambelli family of Turin, the villa has long been a place where stories are shared, art is made, and life slows to a beautiful pace. Over two centuries, it has hosted kings and travelers, musicians and makers — each leaving a trace in its walls and gardens.

Today, under the care of the Traverso and Acer Families, Villa Zambelli is being thoughtfully restored — honoring its past while shaping a new chapter of creativity, hospitality, and connection. It is both a home and a vision; a space where craft, story, and community meet.

From that renewed spirit comes Zambelli Wines, a continuation of the villa’s legacy, expressed through the vineyards of Piedmont and the voices that tend them. Co-created by Brianne Day, Sarah Acer, and Eddie Traverso, Zambelli Wines is the modern voice of the estate: small-batch, women-led, rooted in Piedmont’s historical practices and by curiosity and play.

The debut collection, Voices of the Vine, speaks of creation, transformation, curiosity, and connection, four archetypes that comprise the Zambelli Wines story. Each bottle is an interpretation of the vineyard’s voice, expressed through the unity of land, grower, and maker.

Together, they remind us that wine is never made by one voice alone. Rather, it is a chorus of land and grower, maker and dreamer, of history and hope, of the people who gather and share what the earth has to offer.
